What is an RMT?

A Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) is a licensed healthcare professional who is trained in anatomy, physiology, and clinical assessment to provide therapeutic and evidence-based massage treatments. All RMTs are regulated and meet the standards required for insurance coverage in most extended health benefit plans.

Though more intense than relaxation massage, your RMT will work within your comfort level to ensure a safe and effective treatment.

Insurance & Health Spending Account Coverage
All massage therapy services provided by an RMT are eligible for reimbursement through extended health insurance plans. You can also use your Health Spending Account (HSA) or Wellness Benefits to cover treatment costs. Direct billing may be available depending on your insurer.
